Fujifilm has launched the Finepix F500 EXR and its first GPS-enabled camera in the shape of FinePix F550 EXR. Built around the same design and feature set as its F300 EXR camera, the latest F series cameras offer the company's latest 16Mp EXR CMOS sensor that allows full 1080p HD video recording and full-resolution 8fps continuous shooting. They include the same 15x (24-360mm) optical zoom lenses and 460K 3.0" LCDs as their predecessor. The only difference between the pair is the F550 EXR's built-in GPS and RAW capability.
The FinePix F550 EXR features a 16-megapixel back-illuminated EXR CMOS sensor, a 15x 24-360mm (35 mm equivalent) wide-angle zoom lens, RAW capability, EXR Processor and BSI CMOS, built in GPS with Photo Navigation and Route Logging functions, Full HD 1080p video recording with H.264 (MOV) format, a 3.0-inch LCD, Motion Panorama 360 mode, Advanced Anti blur mode, Photobook Assist function, Pro Low-light Mode, Super Intelligent Flash, Tracking Auto Focus, Face Recognition and Detection, and the new EXR Auto mode featuring 27 scenes.
